(By Dr. Matthias Rath) – Apparently it took the self-experiment of a Heidelberg University professor, who healed himself with green tea, to help the breakthrough of the importance of the highly effective natural products contained therein in the fight against cancer and other diseases.
Fit with green tea again
In the issue of October 5, 2007, the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung reported in large letters: “Thanks to green tea, fit like a fish in the water.” The particular explosiveness of this article lies in the fact that this statement is not from anyone, but from the former director of the Heidelberg Medical Clinic, Professor Werner Hunstein.
The retired doctor and scientist used green tea to heal himself from a life-threatening leukemia-like amyloidosis disease after chemotherapy had been previously unsuccessful.
Alternatives are not accepted
In cellular medicine, the importance of green tea extract, in particular the polyphenol epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) contained therein has been known for years. Nevertheless, Dr. Rath and our Health Alliance as pioneers of this literally vital knowledge for its dissemination has so far been massively attacked.
Now, apparently, the representatives of a pharma-oriented medicine have to rethink and acknowledge the efficacy of science-based natural remedies in the fight against cancer and other diseases. The international media coverage of this case, to the renowned Neue Zürcher Zeitung, also shows that apparently a global rethinking process has begun.
Medical professor successfully treats cancerous disease with green tea
The 79-year-old Hunstein suffered since 2001 under a “systemic amyloidosis”. In this leukemia-like disease, the function of existing blood cells is disturbed, which multiply uncontrollably and lead to protein deposits in body tissue.
This in turn leads to dysfunction of organs to the failure of the heart, kidneys and other organs. In his distress, Hunstein had relied on the chemotherapy he used to propagate himself. The result was devastating. His heart was getting weaker and he could barely climb stairs anymore. In addition, deposits on the tongue and around the larynx had formed so that he could barely speak.
The chemotherapy itself Hunstein now publicly and frankly called “hell-trip”. He would never repeat this procedure – which he used to recommend for thousands of patients.
During that time, I was a wreck and I was just waiting for death,
he describes what he has undergone during chemotherapy. In 2006, chemotherapy was terminated without success.
On the recommendation of former employees, Hunstein began to drink two liters of green tea every day. As a result, the heart function demonstrably improved and the diseased protein deposits regressed. Prof. Hunstein regained new vitality and feels again today “like a fish in the water.” And the malice of his colleagues because of the unusual green tea treatment has fallen silent.
Cellular medicine research is already one step ahead
On March 8, 2002, the scientists of Dr. Ing. Rath Research Institute published the results of its research on polyphenols of green tea (especially EGCG) full-page in the US TODAY – the largest newspaper in the world. A key message was that extracts of green tea along with other micronutrients are able to inhibit even the spread of cancer cells.
